How to Delete POF Account Permanently?

Deleted accounts can't be reactivated, meaning that if you change your mind you'll need to create a new account - all your photos, chat history, and member interactions (Matches, Likes etc.) will be deleted forever when you close your account.  Upgrades from deleted accounts do not transfer over to new accounts. 

To delete your POF (Plenty of Fish) account, you can follow these steps on both Android and iPhone devices:

Open the POF app on your device and log in to your account using your username and password.

Once you're logged in, tap on the profile icon at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a silhouette of a person.

On the profile page, tap on the gear icon or the "Settings" option. This will open the Settings menu.

Scroll down in the Settings menu and look for the "Delete Account" option. It might be listed as "Delete Profile" or something similar.

Tap on the "Delete Account" option, and a confirmation message will appear, explaining what will happen when you delete your account. Read the information carefully.

If you still want to proceed with deleting your account, follow the prompts to confirm your decision.

Please note that the exact steps and menu options may vary slightly depending on the version of the POF app you're using. However, the general process should be similar across both Android and iPhone devices. Make sure to carefully review the information provided during the account deletion process, as deleting your POF account is permanent and cannot be undone.

To delete your account on POF.com using a laptop or desktop computer:

Head over to your Settings page

Scroll down until you find Delete My Account

Click Delete Account and follow the on-screen prompts

Android: If you're deleting your account from an Android device, we currently don't support that in-app, so just head to POF.com on your mobile device, and follow the MOBILE web browser instructions above.

Deleting your account on iOS

If you’re ready to move on, just follow the steps below:

On your Apple iOS device, head to My Profile

Click on Manage Account 

Choose Delete My Account
