How to Delete a YouTube Video?

YouTube has revolutionized the way we consume and share video content. Delete Your Own Videos on Computer

You can remove any videos that you uploaded from your own Google Account. If you delete a video, it's permanently deleted — you can't recover it through YouTube. If you’d like to watch the video in the future, make sure you have a backup saved.

Sign in to YouTube Studio.

From the left menu, select Content.

Point to the video you’d like to delete and select More  and then Delete forever "" .

Check the box to acknowledge that your video will be permanently deleted.

Select DELETE FOREVER.

When you choose to delete a video from your YouTube channel, we immediately start the removal process and it will no longer be searchable within YouTube. Data associated with the video such as Watch time will still be part of aggregate reports, but will not be attributed to the deleted video.

Tap Library "" and then Your videos.

Next to the video you want to delete, select More  and then Delete.

Deleting a YouTube Video:

Open a web browser and visit www.youtube.com. Log in to your YouTube account using your credentials.

From the menu, select "YouTube Studio" to access your channel's dashboard.

In the YouTube Studio dashboard, click on the "Content" tab on the left-hand sidebar. This will display all the videos on your channel.

Locate the video you want to delete from the list. You can use the search bar or scroll through the videos to find it.

Once you've found the video, hover your cursor over its thumbnail, and several options will appear. Click on the three-dot menu icon (⋮) to access more actions.

A dropdown menu will appear. Select "Delete" from the options provided.

YouTube will ask for confirmation before permanently deleting your video. Read the message carefully to ensure you're deleting the correct video.

If you're certain, click on "Delete" to confirm the deletion. YouTube will remove the video from your channel, and it will no longer be accessible to viewers.

Note that the deletion process may take a few moments to complete, especially if the video is lengthy or has a large file size. Be patient and refrain from navigating away from the page until the process is finalized.
