How do I clear my Instagram Search History?

Instagram saves searches in Search & Explore to make it easier for you to find your favorite accounts and hashtags again quickly. To clear your search history:

1. Tap to go to your profile.
2. Tap (iPhone) or (Android) in the top right.
3. Below Account, tap Search History.
4. Tap Clear Search History.

Keep in mind that clearing your search history is temporary, and that searches you clear may reappear in your history after you search for them again.

You can also hide individual accounts to permanently remove them from your search history and keep them from reappearing:

1. Tap and then tap the search bar at the top of the screen
2. Tap Top or People, then tap and hold the accounts you'd like to hide from your history
3. Tap Hide

 When victimisation Instagram, you'll look for individuals, trends, and topics; but, your search actions area unit keep within the app. If you do not need Instagram to retain your recent searches, you'll clear the search history from among the app.

• Open Instagram and tap on the profile button in the lower right corner to access the primary profile page of the active account
• Click on the gear icon to access the Instagram Options page
• Scroll all the way down in the Options menu and tap on “Clear Search History”
• Confirm that you want to clear search history by tapping on the Yes I’m Sure button
• Return to the Search page on Instagram, the prior search history will no longer be visible
