How to Delete Skype Account Permanently?

Deactivate or Close Skype Account


Your Skype account is the same as your Microsoft account. If you close it, you'll no longer be able to sign in to other Microsoft products or services such as Outlook.com, Office Online, OneDrive, Xbox Live, or Windows.     Sign in to your Skype account.  visit https://go.skype.com/myaccount
    Go to account closure page. visit http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=523898
    You may be prompted to sign in or verify your password.
    Enter your Skype login information
    In the Select a reason drop-down list, choose the reason you're closing the account.
    Select Mark account for closure.
    Your account will be closed in 30 days. You can change your mind any time during the 30 days, just sign in to cancel the closure.


Close Skype Account on Mobile:


Tap the Skype App icon on your Mobile
Click on profile icon in the top center
Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner
Now settings menu will open
Scroll down to Account and profile tab
Tap it and you will see next option
Close your account now click on it
Confirm your identity by enter password
From a drop-down menu select the reason
Click on Mark account for closure.

Microsoft will give you a grace period of 30 days to change your mind. If you don’t, your Skype account will be deleted permanently along with the rest of your Microsoft account.
